Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking an adjunct instructor in Dietetics or Nutrition to teach and develop discipline-related curricula, assess learning, and participate in program evaluation. The position requires coordinating schedules, maintaining standards, and supporting student success.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Dietetics/Nutrition (or equivalent) with required graduate hours, and proficiency in Canvas LMS and Microsoft Office. Evening/weekend availability may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices.
• Develops and maintains manuals regarding the College's policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
• Analyzes class and program needs of the College.
• Determines and recommends the retention or deletion of courses.
• Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.
• Maintains calendar as necessary to track these schedules and adjusts as required.
• Assist students and program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Pay Rates:

• Standard hourly rates vary based on the assigned course level and educational credentials.


• Must have the ability to work a fluctuating schedule to include evenings and weekends.
