Philadelphia University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics (Part-time, one-semester contract) in the College of Humanities and Sciences. The successful candidate will teach MATH102 Precalculus for non-science majors, in-person on the East Falls campus.

The Fall course runs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:40–5:30 pm, with classes beginning August 24 and final grades due December 21. M.A./Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Requires M.A., Ph.D. (or ABD) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and assess student learning.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom.

This Fall semester course will be offered in person on our East Falls campus on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:40 – 5:30 pm. Classes begin on August 24 and final grades are due by December 21.
