Job Summary

Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as‑needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester/term basis. Adjunct Instructors hold the responsibility for the courses taught. Adjunct Instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field such as administration, business, management, communication, education, or sociology
• Proven experience in a leadership role

Preferred Qualifications

• Skill in communication, including writing, speaking, and listening
• Understanding of followership as well as leadership
• Practical understanding of leadership and decision making
• Experience in responsible full‑time position
• Strong interest and desire to teach
• Strong recommendations from responsible leaders
