Job summary

La Salle University’s Early Achievement Program (LEAP) seeks an adjunct instructor to lead ENT 170: Innovation and Entrepreneurship during Summer 2023. In-person classes will meet for six weeks on Tuesday and Thursday mornings (10 AM–12 PM) or afternoons (1 PM–3 PM), with additional asynchronous activities and course coordination support.

The position requires a Master’s degree or higher and prior teaching experience; training will be provided and collaboration with LEAP mentors is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher is required.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions and familiarize oneself with upcoming content, materials, and assignments.
• Lead class meetings consistently with the course structure while adapting to students' pace.
• Encourage discussion, engagement, and student involvement; highlight learning moments in activities.
• Support and mentor student teams.
• Collaborate with the course coordinator, other instructors, and LEAP mentors as needed.
• Be available to address questions and assist students as they complete asynchronous work.
• Provide timely grading and feedback to students.
