You are invited to submit an application to be included in the general pool of candidates from which qualified faculty roles will be filled. The number of positions varies depending on the needs of the department and there is no guarantee that an open position currently exists. Appointments are renewed based on departmental need and teaching performance. Classes may be day or evening. Rank and compensation are based on experience and academic credentials.
The Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science Department at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for our Information Technology faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach associate degree level courses in information technology. Courses may include Systems Administration, Introduction to Networking, Programming, Web Development, and Databases. The courses may be offered in-person, online, or hybrid. Class sizes normally range from 15-30 students. Adjunct Instructors would teach 1-2 courses each fall and spring terms. All classes may be offered day or evening. This position is not eligible for Visa or green card sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits
As a UC employee, and an employee of an Ohio public institution, if hired you will not contribute to the federal Social Security system, other than contributions to Medicare. Instead, UC employees have the option to contribute to a state retirement plan (OPERS, STRS) or an alternative retirement plan (ARP).
