The University of Indianapolis is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach THE 110: Introduction to Theatre in the fall semester of 2026. The class runs from 8/31/2026-12/19/2026 Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00am to 12:20pm.


The course description: Study of the entire theatre experience, designed to increase the non-theatre track student’s appreciation of theatre as an art form from both aesthetic and practical views.


Required Candidate Experience


  • Masters or Bachelors degree in theatre or a closely related field

  • At least 1 year of experience teaching at the university level
