Position Summary:
Instructor for undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Chemistry.
Essential Functions:
Develop and deliver lectures, organize in-class activities relevant to course material, prepare and grade assignments and exams to assess student achievement. Learn to use Canvas, NJIT's online course management system. Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class. Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
M.S. or Ph.D. degree in related fields, or relative experience. The formal education and experience prerequisites may be waived at the university's discretion if the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
