Job description

We are seeking adjunct science instructors for Cameron University in Duncan and/or Lawton.

POSITION TITLE:

Part time Adjunct Faculty for the Cameron University, Department of Chemistry, Physics & Engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adjuncts holding this position may teach a maximum of 9 credit hours a semester.
• Responsibilities will include teaching engineering courses such as CAD, Solid Works and/or Electrical Circuits which are required for our Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering.
• Attending some mandatory university and department meetings.
• Collecting assessment data for the courses under your instruction.
• Holding office hours for your students.
• The position requires the instructor to teach day and/or night classes as well as online courses.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• For courses taught in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering, a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of engineering is required plus a minimum of 18 or more graduate hours in engineering OR three years of tested experience in the field of engineering.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Engineering

SALARY:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
