Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in accordance with Imperial Valley College curriculum and approved course outlines as assigned based on the needs of the college.
• Assignments based on availability of classes, seniority, and qualifications; including class preparation, student evaluation, course syllabus planning, and evaluating student learning outcomes.
• Maintain and submit accurate records according to deadlines (grades, syllabi, attendance reports).
• Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the position.
• Advise students on academic matters.
• Maintain competency in the field.
