VCU School of Education invites qualified candidates for Adjunct Instructor positions across undergraduate and graduate programs in early childhood education, elementary education, and reading education.

Instructors will develop courses in CANVAS, teach, and create assessments to support student success, with flexible responsibilities per course and varying weekly hours.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Adjunct Instructors will be responsible for developing their course inCANVAS, teaching the course, and working with students to ensure their success. They will also develop assessments for student learning outcomes, as well as experiential learning experiences in the course

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or licensure, certifications and/or professional experience required in the content area.
• Proficiency with Zoom or other virtual platforms.
• Self starter with the ability to work with little supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in content area and previous higher education teaching experience.

• Experience usingCANVAS, as well as Zoom or other virtual platforms.

Salary Range:$1,437 per 1 credit
