This position will teach college-level Introduction to Computers classes to high school students in the Computer Technologies department. The position is for traditional in-person classes taught on the A-B Tech Victoria Road or at other high schools within Buncombe or Madison County. Online classes may be available to teach.
Teach courses in the Computer Technologies department which includes courses with the following prefixes – CIS, CTS.
1. This position is for traditional in-person classes taught at A-B Tech or other local area high schools within Buncombe or Madison County.
2. This is a continuous recruitment to create an applicant pool; openings may or may not exist at this time. Applications are evaluated on an as-needed basis only when hiring managers have a position that needs to be filled or class(es) that need to be staffed from semester to semester. 3. If selected for hire, official sealed transcripts from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Department of Education or an official transcript evaluation (required if the degree was attained outside the US) from a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) recognized organization, are required to be received a minimum of two business weeks before the first day of work. Failure to comply may result in revocation of the job offer.
Salary Range: $2,294.40 - $2,451.20 depending upon course requirements and faculty credentials.
Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
