University of Cincinnati invites applicants for part-time Adjunct Faculty in Communication at UC Blue Ash. Responsibilities include teaching first- and second-year courses, evaluating coursework, and maintaining student communications. A Master’s degree in Communication and teaching experience are required. The position offers a competitive salary, tuition remission, and professional development opportunities.
Classes may be scheduled during the day or evening, and this role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
The English and Communication Department at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for our Communication Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates from which part‑time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).
Adjunct Faculty member’s primary academic functions include teaching first‑ and second‑year communication courses. This may include creating curricula or teaching from model curricula provided by the department.
Part‑time faculty must have experience and training to provide course instruction in public speaking, interpersonal communication, and/or business communication.
Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system – Canvas; (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner; (3) participate in at least one professional development workshop per year; (4) participate in program assessment.
Classes may be offered day or evening. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
