Job Description
The Russ College of Engineering & Technology’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Ohio University invites applications for Adjunct Instructors (non-tenure track) in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Candidates with prior experience teaching in-person or on-line courses and those who have practical experience in the focus areas are preferred. Candidates with expertise in any of the following focus areas of Civil or Environmental Engineering should apply: construction engineering management, environmental, geotechnical, statistics, structural, surveying, or transportation.
Minimum Qualifications
M.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field by start date with an emphasis on the Civil or Environmental Engineering focus area to which you are applying.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field, a PE license, and significant experience in the Civil or Environmental Engineering focus area to which you are applying.
Work Schedule
Hours vary based on class schedule and office hours.
