Qualifications

• College/university teaching experience preferred.
• PhD in business, economics, or a related discipline; or MBA with significant professional experience.
• Degrees must be from an accredited institution.
• Credentials such as CPA, CMA, or CFA valued for accounting/finance.
• Hood College teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or MBA courses in the Department of Economics and Business Administration.
• Prepare syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Provide high‑quality instruction integrating academic concepts with professional practices.
• Foster an engaging, inclusive, student‑centered learning environment.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain communication with students and the department.
• Adhere to College and departmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other instructional duties related to assigned courses.
