Position: Adjunct Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Mathematics

Responsibilities
  • Teach face-to-face mathematics courses on the Queens campus, including Probability and Statistics, Calculus, and Algebra.
  • Prepare and distribute course outlines and instructional materials aligned with the syllabus.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback throughout the semester.
  • Engage with students outside of class via email, phone, or web conferencing.
  • Post final grades timely and be available for student discussions post-semester.
  • Respond promptly to informational requests from the division and dean's offices.
Qualifications

Master's degree in the relevant discipline required for all ranks. Industry and teaching experience preferred at various levels. Doctorate preferred for full professor rank. Compensation varies with qualifications, starting at $950 per credit without a Ph.D. and $1050 with a Ph.D., in accordance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act.
