The Les Aspin Center for Government is seeking experienced practitioners with an advanced degree (MA, MPA, MPP, JD, PhD, etc.) to teach one or more 1 to 3 credit courses over 5 to 15 weeks during the Fall 2026 semester. The course topic should relate to the semester theme of “Communications, Media, and Journalism.” The courses will be taught in‑person at the Aspin Center in Washington, DC.
For a 1‑credit short course, we welcome your creativity to teach a 5‑week undergraduate seminar on a specific topic based on your expertise (e.g., congressional or White House reporting, crisis communication strategies, public relations in polarized times, data visualization, etc.). For a 2‑ or 3‑credit course (10 or 15 weeks), broader topics relating to the semester theme are appropriate (e.g., media law, business communications, etc.).
