Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks an adjunct faculty member for Advanced Case Management for Addiction and Substance Use Disorders at the Phoenix campus. This part-time, in-person role involves teaching a Spring semester course and guiding students through case management concepts and practices.

The instructor will facilitate lectures, assess student performance, and mentor learners while upholding the university’s mission and values in a collaborative academic environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field and active licensure.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in addictions.
• Ability to facilitate lectures and mentor students in a university setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lectures and discussions.
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
• Support the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.

Education

Master’s degree in Counseling or related field

Licensed professional counselor (LPC) / LMFT / LADC

2+ years clinical experience in addictions
