Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College – Terre Haute Campus is seeking Adjunct Instructors to teach day and evening classes on campus for Advanced Automation & Robotics. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis, responsible for creating a learning environment and providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi.

Faculty must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to this area and meet credentials per the Curriculum of

Qualifications

• Teaches assigned courses using College policies and course objectives.
• Delivers instruction with appropriate technology to enhance learning.
• Prepares/updates syllabi, lesson plans, assignments and exams.
• Maintains accurate student records and grades.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning by delivering classes on campus per course objectives.
• Uses technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/keeps up course outlines, syllabi, plans, assessments and materials.
• Engages with students to provide a positive Ivy Tech experience and adopt active teaching strategies.
• Interacts with students and colleagues professionally and adheres to College policies.
