Overview

The Phillips School of Business at High Point University is seeking part‑time Adjunct Instructors in Accounting. Successful applicants will be assigned a section for the upcoming session or be placed into our pool of adjuncts for future consideration.

Responsibilities

• Teach Accounting courses on an as‑needed basis.
• Successfully teach Accounting at the collegiate level.
• Answer student emails promptly and schedule occasional appointments to meet with students.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in the teaching discipline preferred; a master’s degree and/or appropriate professional experience considered.
• Official transcript showing at least 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting (unofficial copy may be uploaded in the initial application).
• Degrees earned outside the U.S. require an equivalency review (e.g., by World Education Services).
• Less than 18 graduate hours may be considered if accompanied by commensurate experience/training, clearly stated on the CV or resume.
• Collegiate teaching experience preferred but not required.
