For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see Notice to Out of State Applicants.** **JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS**Penn State Lehigh Valley is seeking multiple part-time lecturers to teach Security and Risk Analysis and Cyber Analytics and Operations undergraduate courses within its Cyber Analytics and Operations (CAO) degree program for the 2026-2027 academic year.We are seeking lecturers with previous teaching experience and/or work experience capable of teaching courses in any of the following: Cyber defense, malware analytics, networking and telecommunications, risk analysis and/or management, network security, and cyber law and policy.REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:* Minimum qualification is a master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related fieldDuties include teaching one to three undergraduate level courses (1-3 credits each up to a maximum of 9 credits per semester each spring, and/or fall semester depending on expertise and needs). Additional duties may vary by assignment.* Teaching duties may require teaching day, evening or weekend classes depending on the needs of the class being taught.* **Candidates must be available to teach in-person courses.*** Courses are primarily taught using an in-person (on campus) modality.
