Rate or rates of pay: $1,020 per credit for undergraduate courses; $1,112 per credit after 40 credits are taught within five years; $1,352 per credit for graduate courses. Updates to pay rates will be reflected in the electronic contract.
Job Summary
The College of St. Scholastica seeks qualified adjunct faculty to support undergraduate nursing students in simulation/lab learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Team teach simulation/lab activities, provide technical support, and foster a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff, support setup and takedown of simulation/lab activities, and perform other duties as assigned.
Additional orientation will be provided per course.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and MN RN license.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to complete simulation orientation and training within the first month.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrolled in or completed a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
- Teaching experience.
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification.
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP).
