La Salle University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach an on-campus undergraduate nursing pediatrics didactic course (NUR 335: Family Nursing: Childhood). The Summer 2024 session runs Tuesdays 6 pm–8 pm from 5/20/24 to 8/8/24.
The instructor will align with the syllabus, develop exams, and provide student feedback, coordinating with the Undergraduate Nursing program chair. MSN and pediatric nursing expertise are required; teaching in higher education is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Teaches NUR 335: Family Nursing: Childrearing Families to undergraduate students.
- Teaches with high level of expertise and follows syllabus directives.
- Contributes to syllabus revisions in consultation with faculty and Chair.
- Attends orientation programs and meetings with course coordinators.
- Creates exams and grades assignments as specified by the course syllabus.
- Follows guidelines for course and clinical sections as communicated by coordinators.
- Directs students on assignments as specified in syllabi and in consultation with course faculty.
- Provides email communications to students and faculty.
- Uses University mail and La Salle Portal for course information.
- Provides remedial instruction and communicates performance plans to students.

The La Salle University Undergraduate Nursing Program is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach an on campus, NUR 335: Family Nursing: Childrearing Families course scheduled during the Summer 2024 Session; Tuesdays, 6 pm – 8 pm, starting 5/20/24 – 8/8/24.
- Teaches students at a high level of expertise.
- Complies with the syllabus of assigned courses, following the directives of the Chair.
- Contributes to the revisions of syllabi for assigned course in consultation with faculty and Chair of Undergraduate program.
- Attends faculty orientation programs and meetings with course coordinators.
- Creates exams and grades assignments for the course(s) as specified by the course syllabus.
- Follows guidelines for course and clinical sections as formulated and communicated by course faculty coordinating each course.
- Directs students on course assignments as specified in syllabi and in consultation with faculty coordinating each course.
- Provides email to students and clinical faculty.
- Uses University mail exclusively and frequently for communicating course information with students and program information with Chair of Undergraduate program.
- Uses the La Salle Portal to access information about courses and programs.
- In consultation with the Chair and staff, provides remedial instruction for students.
- Provides students information about their performance on tests, assignments, and evaluations.
