Job summary

The University of New Mexico-Gallup Branch is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach face-to-face and/or develop lower-division courses (1000–2000 level) for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. In the Math, Business, Science & Technology Division, instructors manage all course responsibilities, including delivery, assignments, grading, and reporting grades, with potential evening or weekend sessions.

Positions are contingent on enrollment and offering matrices; candidates report to the division

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the discipline or subfield for which you are applying.
• At least one year of successful teaching experience at the community college level.
• Relevant industry experience.
• A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the university's mission to serve local and global communities.

Responsibilities

• Teach face-to-face classes and develop lower-division courses (1000–2000 level) as assigned.
• Deliver content, develop assignments, grade work, and report grades.
• Adjust by semester according to enrollment and course offerings.
