Job description
Overview

Herzing University is currently accepting applications for adjunct faculty to support the surgical technology program for the online division.

To participate in a remote work arrangement, employees must reside in the United States. No remote work arrangement will be considered for working from outside the United States.

Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree
  • Hold an Associate's degree in Surgical Technology from an educational institution accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency
  • Possess a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential obtained through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA)
  • Have a minimum total of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years
  • Experience teaching is preferred

Compensation is $900 per credit hour, per course. Adjunct Faculty are eligible to participate in the Herzing 401(k) plan with a generous company match and our excellent education assistance programs. The university encourages exploring careers at Herzing University.
