You will supervise students in classroom or lab settings, communicate requirements and evaluations clearly, and collaborate with colleagues to update curricula.

Qualifications

• Health care field experience required, especially in short-term health education.
• Previous teaching or training in adult education preferred.
• Current certifications such as CPR or First Aid are an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to engage students.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and willingness to hybrid teaching.

Overview / Job Summary

The Adjunct Faculty Instructor is responsible for teaching Short Term Health courses, providing subject matter expertise, adhering to lesson plans, meeting course objectives, and maintaining professional academic standards.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:

• Delivering high-quality instruction in Short Term Health programs to promote student learning and engagement.
• Supervising and managing students in classroom or lab settings to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
• Keeping students informed about course content, requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance expectations.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve curricula that meet the objectives of the program.
• Ensuring compliance with WSU Techs academic standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education

• PN Technical Certificate required for LPN, Associates

degreerequiredor BSN for RN.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Experience in the health care field, particularly in short-term health educationrequired.
• Previous teaching or training experience in adult educationpreferred.
• Current certifications related to health care professions, such as CPR, First Aid, or specific clinical skills, are an advantage.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and willingness to utilize hybrid teaching methods as needed.
