AdventHealth Orlando invites qualified educators to join our team as a Radiology technology instructor on a PRN day-shift schedule. You will review policies, develop syllabi with the course coordinator, and mentor students through teaching, service, scholarship, and research activities.

You will deliver instruction in both in-person and online formats, ensure compliance with department standards, and support a diverse student body while advancing clinical education within our faith-based health

Formación

• Master's degree in the discipline being taught is required.
• Certification/licensure as Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
• Ability to teach in person and online and mentor students.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews and assists with revisions needed for department policies and procedures.
• Develops, designs, and delivers instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator.
• Advises and mentors students, formulating and administering student competencies as needed.
• Engages in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship, and research.

Job Description:

Reviews and assists with revisions needed for department policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Provides course syllabi for instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator. Engages in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship, and research. Grades examinations and assignments, reviews evaluations with students, and meets all established deadlines for testing, assignments, and grade submissions. Advises and mentors students, formulating and administering student competencies as needed. Develops, designs, and delivers instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work in both a face-to-face and online teaching environment [Required]
• Knowledge of computer based academic delivery systems [Required]
• Ability to work with an ethnically diverse student body [Required]

Education:

Master's a minimum of 18 graduate-level semester hours of credit in the discipline(s) being taught. [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

Registered Radiology Technologist (RT)(R)(ARRT) [Required]
