Job summary

ICC Illinois Central College in East Peoria is seeking an Adjunct Faculty, Psychology Instructor to support the delivery of Introductory Psychology and related courses. The role may include day, evening, weekend, and off-campus classes, with a requirement to maintain office hours to promote student success.

The position is part-time, teaching up to 12 contact hours per semester, with an emphasis on adhering to the provided syllabi and institutional standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology or master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in psychology.

Job Description

Summary Provide instruction to a diverse group of students in the area of Introductory Psychology; developmental psychology courses; and academic success courses. May include a combination of day, evening, weekend, and/or off-campus classes. Adjunct Faculty are primarily responsible for instructing assigned courses meeting classroom standards. The Adjunct Faculty must follow institutional syllabi. Additionally, Adjunct Faculty will be required to maintain office hours to best ensure student success. Adjunct Faculty teach on a part time basis up to 12 contact hours per semester.

Applicants must be a resident of Illinois at the time of hire.
