Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for an in-person adjunct faculty position in the Psychology Department for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. The candidate will teach General Psychology during Tue/Thu slots 2-3:45pm and/or 4-5:45pm, in a part-time, non-benefitted role.

Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree or PhD in Psychology with relevant teaching experience. Knowledge of Canvas LIS is preferred. Salary is listed per credit and base rate applies to qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver course content for credit courses (50%).
  • Prepare lesson plans and course materials; assess student learning and assign grades; provide mentorship and refer students to support services.

Job description

The Psychology Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for in-person adjunct faculty position for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027. The candidate(s) would teach General Psychology at T/Th 2-3:45pm &/or 4-5:45pm This is a part-time non-benefitted position.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • 50% Design and delivery course content for credit courses.
  • 45% Prepare lesson plans and course materials. Assess student learning. Assign grades, refer students to support services. Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students.
  • 5% Abide with USNH and KSC policies; participate in appropriate departments/unit meetings.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
  • Masters degree or PhD in Psychology given preference
  • Relevant teaching experience in general psychology
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Canvas LIS

Pay Range: $800/credit or $840 with terminal degree
