Job Description:

The Textile/Surface Design department is recruiting a pool of applicants for possible adjunct teaching positions for courses in traditional painting, traditional media (painting) and CAD, and applied color theory.

Candidates should have practical experience in textile/surface design for fashion and/or home markets, with expertise in both traditional and CAD techniques for original design development. They should demonstrate strong skills in layout and repeat creation, and have the capacity to research and analyze color and concept trends. Candidates must have a solid understanding of the relevant materials and techniques, and be able to contribute effectively to the academic environment.
