Job Description:

The Textile/Surface Design department is recruiting a pool of applicants for possible adjunct teaching positions for TD 334 Complex Dobby Wovens. Successful candidates will have expertise in multi-harness, advanced level drafting, experience using 16-24 harness hand looms (AVL compu-dobby preferred), and experience using industry standard software such as Pointcarre or Nedgraphics for dobby weaving. Candidates should also have experience with technical packs for developing woven fabrics. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in layouts, repeats, color theory, and the ability to analyze and research current market color and trend concepts.
