Job description

The Health Sciences Department of Pensacola State College offers vocational credit Phlebotomy Technician courses delivered face‑to‑face. Adjunct instructors teach the program, develop curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and departmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the Phlebotomy Technician program.

Qualifications

• Must be an EKG technician, paramedic, registered nurse, or respiratory therapist with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must hold appropriate certifications and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers credential.
• Must demonstrate successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Must be able to use the technology required for assigned courses.

Compensation

• Bachelor’s degree or less: $28.00 per hour.
• Master’s degree: $30.00 per hour.
• Doctorate: $32.00 per hour.

Other Information
