Job summary

Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College on the Washington University Medical Campus in St. Louis invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty member for Spring 2027. This role supports labs, simulations, and clinical teaching under the program director.

Qualifications include Doctorate in Physical/Biological Science with 2–5 years in teaching or clinical supervision; 5–10 years preferred. Responsibilities: teach, assess, and supervise students across settings.

With a legacy beginning in 1902, Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College has a strong tradition of educating health care professionals.

Goldfarb School of Nursing is located on the Washington University Medical Campus in St. Louis and is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital, with a second site at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Adjunct faculty members accommodate the mission of the college in accordance with academic and regulatory standards through an assigned function in clinical settings to meet student enrollment supplementing regular faculty positions. Each faculty member is responsible for fulfilling and sustaining the duties and functions specified by the course leader or program director under the direction of the appropriate Academic Chair or Associate Dean.
