Job Summary

The Department of Occupational Therapy is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate pre‑OT courses and co‑teach the graduate MSOT program. Candidates should demonstrate educational background, clinical expertise, availability, and ability to teach online or in a hybrid format.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy.
• Clinical experience as a registered and licensed occupational therapist.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to learn classroom technology to support student learning.
• Experience and ability to positively interact with all members of the campus community.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodations.

Working Conditions

Duties are performed in a classroom environment, with occasional administrative tasks outside the classroom. Some weeknights and weekends may be required depending on the course schedule and student needs. Weekly hours vary based on class contract load. Adjunct faculty are hired each semester on an as‑needed basis. All work associated with this role must be performed within the state of Michigan.
