Southern University System invites qualified professionals to join as adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction, preparing syllabi, and assessing student work in alignment with curriculum.
The role is part-time, with weekly office hours and collaboration with department chairs. Ideal candidates hold a master's degree or 18 graduate hours, with teaching experience preferred; terminal degrees for graduate courses
Southern University is seeking highly motivated, dynamic, and dedicated adjunct faculty members to teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, engaging students, and contributing to the department’s mission of academic excellence. Adjunct Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. These positions report directly to the department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
Adjunct Faculty is a part-time position.
