Job summary

ProTrain Education in Omaha, NE is seeking an experienced instructor to teach Medical Assistant or EKG courses in a classroom or synchronous setting. This part-time, contracted role begins immediately with future classes available for the right candidate.

Course locations are in-class with multiple evening and weekend options. The candidate should have 1–2 years of teaching experience, 2 years in the related field, and hold an active CCMA certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience.

• Must adhere to weekly class schedule.
• Active NHA CCMA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Assistant and EKG course content in classroom or synchronous settings.
• Cover topics listed: Medical Records, Asepsis/OSHA, Sterilization, Vital Signs, Exam procedures, EKG, Lab procedures, Phlebotomy, Hematology, Microbiology, Emergency procedures.
• Assess students, provide feedback, and maintain attendance and academic records.

Position Overview

ProTrain is currently recruiting for an experienced instructor with experience teaching a Medical Assistant or EKG course. Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or/and in a synchronous environment, as well as have a minimum of 2 years in Medical Assisting.

This is a part time, contracted teaching position to begin immediately. Future classes will be available to the right candidate.

Course Location and Schedule

Course Location: In Classroom

Course Day/Time - multiple options: Tuesday/Thursday and Mondays/Wednesday Options 6PM CT - 9PM CT, as well we have Saturday options 9AM CT - 4PM CT
