Job summary

University of Massachusetts Global seeks an experienced Adjunct Faculty member to teach Master of Social Work courses remotely. The role involves delivering didactic and field education content, mentoring students, and grading with timely feedback across multiple time zones.

Applicants should hold an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and have at least two years of university teaching experience. Online teaching and field seminar experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program is required plus 2 year teaching experience in a university setting
• Available to hold synchronous sessions or supplemental supervision for MSW students across various time zones
• Online Teaching Experience (2 year or more)
• Field Seminar Instruction Experience (2 year or more)
• Experience supervising students in their field practicum and working with agency supervisors (1 year or more)
• Experience teaching in clinical social work, research methods, and field practicum will be given preference

• Delivering course content, engaging with students in discussion boards, and grading and providing detailed feedback on assignments.
• Collaborating with faculty or staff within the social work department including timely response to department emails.

• If teaching field seminar, liaison with practicum agencies and supervisors on a regular basis to ensure student success in field practicum.

Compensation:

The following salary range reflects compensation paid for a 3-unit course (101.25 hours) and varies based on the faculty member's course assignment.

3-unit Lecture Course: The hiring range for this position is $3456.00 to $3856.00.
