Job summary

UMass Global is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member in Educational Administration for the Center for Extended Education. This remote role offers 40 coaching hours annually, with guidance to develop leadership and support candidates through an Individualized Induction Plan.

Required MA in Educational Administration and a CA Clear Admin Service Credential, with preference for higher degrees. Remote work available to selected states; compensation is hourly and competitive.

Qualifications

• CA Clear Admin Service Credential is required.
• MA at minimum; EDD/PhD preferred.
• Must hold an administrative position.

Responsibilities

• Provide 40 hours of coaching annually (4 hours/month).
• Communicate with candidates via phone, email, text, and virtual coaching sessions.
• Develop an Individualized Induction Plan (IIP) with the candidate.
• Provide ongoing coaching to support leadership development per the IIP.
• Facilitate IIP goals and CPSEL-based professional development activities.
• Support school culture development and problem-solving.
• Model instructional coaching and monitor systems with staff.
• Coordinate resources to support teaching and learning.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Adjunct Faculty - Educational Administration Student Services (CASC) -Remote

Position Overview:

• Provide 40 hours of coaching annually (4 hours per month average).
• Contacts includes: via phone, email/text and virtual coaching sessions.
• Collaboratively develop Individualized Induction Plan (IIP) with candidate.
• Provide ongoing coaching to facilitate leadership development according to the IIP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate development of IIP goals, identification of Professional Development activities and implementation of action plans based upon selected CPSEL standards
• Facilitate problem solving, reflection and communication
• Assist in developing a leadership voice and shared vision
• Facilitate thinking around the development of school culture
• Model instructional coaching
• Collaborate on monitoring systems
• Facilitate thinking around professional learning supports to staff
• Facilitate problem solving in aligning resources to support teaching and learning.
• Facilitate thinking regarding issues across systems
• Facilitate thinking on technology tools and resources

Required Qualifications

• CA Clear Admin Service Credential
• Must have an MA at minimum - prefer EDD/PhD
• Must be in an Administrative Position

Preferred Qualifications

• Advance degree in Educational Administration, EDD
• Familiarity with coaching methods
• Experience mentoring or supervising students or candidates.

Work Environment:

A remote adjunct work environment is a flexible, virtual setting where instructors deliver course content, engage with students, and fulfill academic responsibilities from a remote location. This environment typically relies on digital communication tools, learning management systems (LMS), and virtual collaboration platforms to facilitate teaching and interaction.

Compensation:

$50.00 per hour

Offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to; geographical location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
