Job Description:

SUNY Cobleskill is seeking qualified, capable, and enthusiastic adjunct instructors to teach plant science courses. Courses may include, but are not limited to:

· AGSC 111X - Introduction to Soil Science Lab

· AGRN 135 - Cannabis Management

· AGRN 255 - Cannabis Harvest & Analysis

· Bachelor's Degree in Plant Science, Horticulture or Soil Science

· Experience with soil science or cannabis production

· Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk measurable distances

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous, successful college teaching experience

· Laboratory teaching experience

· Master's degree or higher in Plant Science, Soil Science, Cannabis/Hemp Production or similar

Additional Information:

• We currently have openings for the January 2025 (spring) semester and onward.
• These courses will meet in-person and will utilize our on campus farm, which is just steps away from our classroom spaces
• Courses run on a 15-week academic calendar
• This position is part-time and temporary
