Clovis Community College seeks an adjunct instructor to teach in the Instruction department under general supervision. The role involves collaborating with college faculty to ensure key concepts are addressed and to deliver effective course outcomes.
The position requires presenting clear lectures, providing timely feedback on student performance, maintaining records, and using Canvas, Starfish, email, MS Office and the Internet. Expect 40 hours weekly with potential evening/weekend hours.

Under general supervision of and in accordance with Clovis Community College and departmentally established practices and expectations, adjunct instructors work collaboratively with other faculty within the College and their discipline to ensure that key concepts of the specific discipline are addressed.
Requires frequent and continuous sitting/moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and pushing and pulling of up to 20 lbs.
Must be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Master’s degree in the related field or a master’s degree in another field with 18 additional graduate hours in the discipline to be taught.
