Job summary

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to deliver courses and support student learning. Instructors will prepare course plans, teach scheduled classes, monitor attendance and progress, advise students, and record grades with timely reporting.

This part-time, temporary role may require day, evening, and/or weekend availability to accommodate student needs and university scheduling.

Description

The Department of Intregrated Studies at the UniversityofTennessee at Chattanooga College of Arts and Sciences invitesapplications for the position of Adjunct Faculty.

Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise todeliver education services to students through:

  • Preparing course plans and materials
  • Delivering courses
  • Monitoring progress/attendance
  • Advising students
  • Recording grades and submitting reports
Qualifications

Instructor with a Master’s degree in discipline with two (2) yearsof experience. Teaching experience preferred. This is a part-time,temporary position that may require day, evening and/or weekendavailability.
