Worcester Polytech is seeking part-time adjunct faculty in History to teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses on a course-by-course basis. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in History and demonstrate teaching excellence and versatility.
Responsibilities include teaching various History themes, such as American, European, and global histories. Compensation is set at $6,000 per course and applicants will be placed in a pool for future opportunities.
Part‑time adjunct faculty in History to teach introductory, intermediate thematic, and advanced seminar courses on a course‑by‑course basis.
Teach History courses based on WPI’s strengths in American, European, East Asian, Latin American, and global histories; histories of science and technology; urban and environmental histories; imperial and postcolonial histories; and race, gender, and social movements.
PhD in History. Demonstrated teaching excellence and versatility. Ability to integrate into existing curriculum with creative and critical pedagogical approaches.
