Job Description

Purpose and Scope: Faculty are responsible for delivering courses that meet educational objectives and support student success. Positions are part-time, semester-based, and contingent on grant funding.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Teach High School Equivalency/GED and developmental courses for Adult Education and Literacy programs.
  2. Create engaging lessons and evaluate student progress.
  3. Maintain professional relationships and adhere to institutional policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Project leadership, collaboration, proficiency with MS Office, commitment to college mission, effective communication, and adaptability.

Physical Abilities and Work Conditions: Sedentary work with some mobility, performed in a climate-controlled office environment, with flexible hours based on class schedules.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's in English or Math, Texas Teaching Certificate.

Salary

$53.82 per contact hour.
