Illinois Central College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach English composition at the East Peoria Campus. The instructor will follow established syllabi, develop lesson plans, and maintain office hours to support student success in a part-time capacity, up to 12 contact hours per semester, with in-person classes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in English or master's degree in any discipline plus 18 graduate credit hours in English.
• Preferred: experience teaching transfer-level English Composition and developmental reading/writing.
• Ph.D. in a relevant field is desirable.

The Adjunct Faculty must follow institutional syllabi. Additionally, Adjunct Faculty are required to maintain office hours to best ensure student success.
