  • Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity and computer engineering.
  • Working knowledge of artificial intelligence tools and applications, including generative AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in cybersecurity, computer engineering, and AI.
  • Develop and update course materials reflecting current industry standards and advancements.
  • Deliver engaging lectures, labs, and hands-on learning experiences.
  • Assess student learning through assignments, projects, exams, and presentations.
  • Provide timely feedback and maintain regular communication with students.
  • Maintain accurate course records and submit grades by university deadlines.
  • Collaborate with full-time faculty on curriculum development and program improvement.
  • Support ABET accreditation efforts by documenting student outcomes and assessments, if requested.
  • Encourage ethical practices, innovation, and professional development among students.
  • Maintain office hours and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner.

Position Description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in cybersecurity, computer engineering, and artificial intelligence (AI). The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity principles, computer engineering, and emerging AI technologies, with a commitment to high-quality instruction, student engagement, and experiential learning.

Job Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in cybersecurity, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, and related areas.
  • Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards and technological advancements.

  • Ability to teach effectively in face-to-face, hybrid, and online learning environments.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
