Job description

The Education Department is committed to excellence in teaching, teacher preparation, and educational leadership preparation. Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching coursework dedicated to preparing undergraduate and graduate students in one or more of our Education programs, including childhood education, adolescence education, special education, and educational leadership.

The delivery of course content and assessments based on approved course outlines and program requirements is also included. Course content might include a variety of topics such as Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Practices for Students with Disabilities, Assessment, Foundations of Special Education, and Instructional Leadership across Birth through 12th grade.

The School of Education, Health, and Human Services prepares students for successful entry into their profession. We focus on an ethical approach to human well-being and encourage critical thinking and practical application.
