A leading educational institution is seeking an instructor for the Design/Drafting Technologies program to teach AutoCAD, SoildWorks, and more at their campus in Okmulgee. The instructor will facilitate learning for an associate degree, focusing on both fundamental and advanced techniques in drafting and design, while requiring at least a Bachelor's degree and five years of industry experience. Qualifications

GENERAL SUMMARY

This position will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree in the Design/Drafting Technologies program. The focus of this instructional position will include teaching in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SoildWorks, Revit, CADWorx, Civil 3D, GIS, & SDS2. This will range from fundamental drafting basics to advanced design techniques and 3D printing.



EDUCATION


  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university; master’s degree preferred.

  • Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree requirement with appropriate approval.



EXPERIENCE


  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.

  • Five (5) years documented successful work experience in related industry.

  • Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.



CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS, AND/OR LICENSES


  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required if performing the functions of the position requires the use of a personal or university vehicle.
