Job summary

Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology - Okmulgee is seeking a qualified instructor to facilitate learning for an Associate in Applied Science degree in the Construction Management Program within the School of Engineering & Construction Technologies.

Courses will be delivered in-person and online across several disciplines, including Wall & Roof Systems, Interior Finishes & Specialties, Field Engineering I, and Project Scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
  • Three or more years of construction industry experience.
  • Teaching experience in higher education preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse constituencies.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate learning for an Associate in Applied Science degree in Construction Management.

About This Position
GENERAL SUMMARY

This position will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree in the Construction Management Program within the School of Engineering & Construction Technologies. Classes will be in-person and online in the following disciplines: Wall & Roof Systems, Interior Finishes & Specialties, Field Engineering I, Project Scheduling, Mechanical Systems (online), Construction Documents & Show Drawings (online)

Education

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
Experience
  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • Three or more years of evidenced commercial construction industry experience.
  • Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.
Licensure/Certification
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
