Job summary

The instructor should be available to teach during the day and/or evenings as needed by the program.
Must feel comfortable using learning management systems (Canvas) in the delivery of courses.
Must be able to utilize and maintain lab equipment.
Must be able to adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
Must be able to administer and grade tests, evaluate students, prepare weekly classes and performance testing based on the course curriculum.
Must demonstrate a working knowledge and appreciation of Cybersecurity and Digital forensics tools and practices used in industry.
Must be able to explain the safe and proper use of tools and equipment used in industry.
Must be able to deliver curriculum on campus.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a closely related field.
Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Exterro ACE, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Security+ certifications.
A minimum of three years of industry experience; ability to operate a computer to post syllabus, grades, and attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, or closely related field.
Prior college-level teaching experience.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH).
Chip off certifications and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) certifications.
