Job summary

Job Description
  • The instructor should be available to teach during the day and/or evenings as needed by the program.
  • Must feel comfortable using learning management systems (Canvas) in the delivery of courses.
  • Must be able to utilize and maintain lab equipment.
  • Must be able to adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
  • Must be able to administer and grade tests, evaluate students, prepare weekly classes and performance testing based on the course curriculum.
  • Must demonstrate a working knowledge and appreciation of Cybersecurity and Digital forensics tools and practices used in industry.
  • Must be able to explain the safe and proper use of tools and equipment used in industry.
  • Must be able to deliver curriculum on campus.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a closely related field.
  • Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Exterro ACE, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Security+ certifications.
  • A minimum of three years of industry experience; ability to operate a computer to post syllabus, grades, and attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, or closely related field.
  • Prior college-level teaching experience.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH).
  • Chip off certifications and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) certifications.
