Job summary

Texas A&M University-San Antonio seeks a non-tenure track adjunct faculty member in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in pedagogy and curriculum. The role requires a Master’s degree in an education-related field and EC-12 teaching experience.

Preference given to candidates with college teaching experience. Responsibilities include following a syllabus, keeping records, grading, and coordinating with lead faculty.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education-related field (Curriculum & Instruction and/or Reading Education) is required.
• Teaching experience in EC-12 is required.
• Experience teaching in a college setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses focused on curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Work with lead faculty to plan course instruction.
• Maintain appropriate records, assign grades, and report data as required.
