The Mission of Daemen University is to prepare students for life and leadership in an increasingly diverse and complex world through the integration of education and professional preparation. Daemen University is going beyond instrumental needs to foster the development of individuals who are dedicated to the health and well-being of local and global communities.

Purpose of Role

The Criminal Justice Program at Daemen University is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor for the Senior Capstone. Locate and integrate sources academically appropriate to the research project. All sources used in the project must be included in a bibliography organized in APA or Chicago Manual of Style format (to be determined in consultation with the instructor). Orally present the finished research project to the class and faculty audience. The student must explain the subject and purpose of the project and answer questions from those in attendance, including peers and faculty members. Submit research materials (including research log, research notes, and other materials) periodically throughout the semester. At the end of the course, students will be required to submit a copy of the final project, including a full bibliography.
